Kathryn 'Kat' Jinx was born in New York,the week before the Challenger blew up.She was totally making her entrance; the pyrotechnics were off.

         At the age of 8, she discovered her local karate school and, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as her guide, began lessons. By the time she was 13, she had made her black belt, had several world and national titles in kata, fighting and weaponry, and had competed in the Junior Olympics.  She could also often be spotted playing Pokemon, reading Jurassic Park, or jumping off things.
         When high school hit, she was ready to retire from competition martial arts, preparing to continue performing with the demonstration team, which had appeared on several local television programs.   She  graduated, cum laude, with roles in all 9 of her school plays, in the National Honors Society, and with Dramatic Arts awards from the State.

         She started college and crammed internships, classes on set design and costuming, and even performed with the Shoestring Players before graduating in 2008. During this time, she had also been performing at the local Renaissance faires, developing a love for sword-fighting and fire stunts.  To learn aerial work, she joined the New York Circus Arts Academy.

         In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games such as Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, and Pokemon, crafting various things, sewing various costumes, writing, sketching, and memorizing random facts.  She loves horror movies, reading, and making things explode. And  science. And zombies.

         She also enjoys writing about herself in third person, and hopes you will not hold it against her as its probably the least weird thing on here.
